Our Why

My roots in Philadelphia are a huge part of my why. Philly sports have always been more than just games in my family—they've been our way of coming together. Some of my most meaningful memories are of watching the Phillies and the Birds with my Pop Pop, who was my biggest role model. There was nothing he loved more than being surrounded by family, cheering on his teams. The love, loyalty, and connection he brought into those moments is something I carry with me in everything I create.

Not to mention my dad, who raised me to love the Eagles so much that for years I genuinely believed his college football career meant he was a former Eagles player. In fact, I proudly shared it as my "fun fact" on the first day of school more than once. You can imagine the look on my teachers' faces when I'd confidently say his name and they realized he was, in fact, not on any Eagles roster they had ever heard of. To be fair, he never corrected me very quickly. The first life lesson I remember him teaching me was that if I ever got married, it was non-negotiable that it had to be an Eagles fan. Looking back, that may have been less of a suggestion and more of a family policy.

I've always had a deep love for fashion and beauty, and over time, that naturally turned into creating for others. In college, my room became the go-to spot—my sorority sisters would come "shopping" in my closet every weekend, and I'd literally keep a running list of who had what. It was never just about the clothes; it was about helping people feel confident, put together, and like the best version of themselves.

But if there's one thing I've always known, it's that my heart belongs in education and childcare. I earned my Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, and working with children is truly what I was meant to do. I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days helping little ones learn, grow, and discover the world around them. That passion naturally inspired me to create stories of my own. Through The Bloom Club and Lyndsay Loves Reggie, my hope is to create books that children genuinely love—stories that spark imagination, encourage kindness, celebrate curiosity, and become the ones they ask to read again and again.

Whether I'm designing a new collection, writing a children's book, or dreaming up my next idea, creating with purpose is second nature to me. I wanted a space where I could bring all of the things I love together—my creativity, my style, my passion for education, and my desire to make things that leave people feeling a little happier than before.
